Twin sisters get married to twin husbands and their children are delightfully identical

It has been shown that the sons of identical twin sisters who married identical twin brothers and had children at the same time are not just cousins but also genetic brothers.

Jax and Jett, who are only three months apart in age, are the children of twins Virginians Briana and Brittany Deane, 35, and twins Josh and Jeremy Salyers.

Jax, who will turn one in April, and Jett, who was one in January, are “quaternary twins,” genetic brothers and cousins since they have the same DNA.

When the family revealed it on their joint Instagram page, it startled their 219,000 followers on social media.

Thousands of people posted comments expressing their astonishment, while others responded with an explanation.
One said: ‘Identical twins share the same DNA. When two sets of identical twins marry, it makes their kids genetic sibling.’

Another said: ‘A pair of identical twins marrying identical twins is called a ‘quaternary marriage. Identical twins share the exact same genetic material, egg/sperm and all (while fraternal twins are conceived from a different egg and sperm).’

One person excitedly said: ‘They would be 99.9 percent brothers. PLEASE PLEASE GET THE DNA TEST DONE AND SHOW US. I’m dying to know and see if its true.’

Brittany, the mother of Jett and the wife of Josh, verified the fans’ notion in an interview with NBC News, claiming that the boy’s special circumstance makes them more closely connected than typical cousins.

Josh, the joyful father, captioned the adorable photo that Brittany posted on Instagram on January 21, 2021, announcing the arrival of their son Jett Salyers: ‘Brittany did wonderfully in delivery. I am so proud of them and excited to be Jett’s dad!’

And a few months later, Briana and Jeremy did the same, posting a picture of their brand-new son Jax Salyers. Jeremy posted:  ‘I am so proud of my beautiful wife, Briana, and how well she did. She was so strong and brave and did an amazing job. I am thankful that our boys will grow up together!’

The quartet acknowledged that “privacy is becoming an issue” in their shared house since receiving their new members, but they still aim to nurture their children as “one family unit.”

Jeremy said: ‘I feel like I’m Jett’s parent and I think [Josh] feels the same way about Jax. We’re raising the kids together so it feels like just one family unit.’

The four people share a bank account, so sharing the money isn’t a problem, Briana said, adding that bedrooms and closets have been a tremendous, huge difficulty in the house.

The couples announced their shared pregnancy in August 2020 with a photo shoot with a Baywatch theme. The couples wed in Twinsburg, Ohio in August 2018, wearing similar outfits.
