This amazing scene shows an elephant napping across the street and causing a traffic jam.

Nattawat Patsungsing was late for work because of the obstinate beast in Nakhon Ratchasima, northern Thailand.

Mr. Patsungsing, who was shooting the majestic Indian elephant from his car, had to stop at a distance and keep quiet in order to prevent the beast from charging.
The animal is drowsily drifting in and out of a profound sleep, its legs and ears flapping.
The elephant then raises its trunk and stands up straight.
In the video, You can hear him saying: “Oh boy… you’re taking the entire road. Can you please move, little boy? I really have to go to work.”
The Nga-Thong elephant rises up and maintains an eye on Mr. Patsungsing as he slowly backs away.
According to officials, during the colder months, the elephant frequently lies on the concrete to stay warm.
The elephant’s name was Nga-Thong, which in Thai translates to “golden ivory,” according to the driver, who also claimed that local wildlife officials had told him this.
“Nga-Thong doesn’t like to reveal himself when the road is busy with cars and loud buses, so most of the time it’s national park officers who see him. They said he’s very shy.”
“I was waiting about twenty minutes until he finally got up. I was late for my shift at work that day but I was happy to see him so close.”
