A video of a pet dog appearing to prevent a little girl from being scolded by her mother will make you can not stop laughing.
The child’s mother, who filmed the scene, claimed that the five-year-old golden retriever was protecting her two-year-old daughter as she was scolding the girl.
“I was honestly really upset. I’d just bought the cream and half of it was already gone,” Sun was quoted as saying. “My baby started crying because I was shouting at her quite aggressively.”
Harry’s immediate reaction, which was to protect the child from her mom’s impending wrath, delighted Sun. The dog even tried to comfort the young girl by resting his head on her shoulder.
She claimed that her daughter had grown up in Harry’s company and the two had a deep bond. Sun revealed that Harry has always been protective of You You, noting that he will often shield the little girl when they speak to her in a harsh manner.
The trending clip purports to show the dog, Harry, shielding the crying girl, You You, with his paws.
The pet, named after J.K. Rowling’s fictional character Harry Potter, also appeared to snarl at the parent, seemingly telling her to back off.
Harry’s adorable reaction was captured by the girl’s mother, Ms Sun, on Friday at their home in eastern Chinese city Xuzhou.
Ms Sun claimed that she decided to record the incident because she found it ‘funny and infuriating’ at the same time.
According to Sun, the popularity of the video surprised her, as she thought she was just documenting a funny moment in their life.
“I was just documenting the daily moments of my dog and daughter because Harry is turning six years old soon and getting old,” Sun said.
“I just wanted to capture these memories so I have something to look back on in the future when he’s not here anymore,” she added.
Apparently, this is not the first time Harry has defended his little pet owner.
‘Whenever we speak to [You You] in a harsh tone, he would come over and try to shield her with his paws,’ the mother added.
‘He would protect the child with his life.’
