Mom was taken aback the first time Charlie walked into the home, and she had no idea that five years later he’d be their house horse! She felt awful about kicking him out, but he actually performed well on the inside.
So they now leave the barn’s back gate open so Charlie may come and go as he pleases!
He’ll simply hang out in the kitchen while Pam prepares, or he’ll go rip the covers off the bed!
They also have dogs, but they don’t seem to mind or think it’s odd that a horse is in the house with them.
Charlie craves attention, and he gets a lot of it in this environment. How amusing!
